Farhan Akhtar to launch English music album with James Sanger

Riding high on the success of Rock 2 which received wide critical acclaim, Farhan Akhtar has begun working on an Indie-English album with producer and programmer James Sanger who’s worked with U2, Madonna and Phil Collins in the past.

Riding high on the success of Rock 2 which received wide critical acclaim, actor Farhan Akhtar has begun working on an Indie English album with producer and programmer James Sanger who has worked with U2, Madonna and Phil Collins in the past.

Farhan, who has been writing songs and poetry , has decided to share them with his fans through this album. The album’s release date is yet to be announced. Writing the songs and their basic compositions are over.

Confirming the news, Farhan said, “ I’m collaborating with James Sanger, a France-based British producer who’s currently in India and working closely with me on the four songs about personal experiences which we have shortlisted for the EP (Extended Play).”

James is already a big name in the music business and has done some exceptional work over the last 25 years. He has worked with U2, Madonna and several other stars from the music industry. As a producer and programmer, James is credited with over 60 million record sales worldwide. His work has also won 3 Brit awards, 18 Grammys and 2 Ivor Novello awards since 2001.

Farhan, who otherwise sings in Hindi, will treat his fans with English songs.
