The idea behind organising this event is to establish inner peace through the power of Indian classical music. Tabla player and member of the foundation, Durjay Bhaumik, says, “Music is the best means to be in harmony, as it transports same melodies to all ears, and gives soothing pleasure to every soul.”

The evening will have a combination of vocal and instrumental performances by artists such as Pandit Bhajan Sopori, Pandit Rajan and Sajan Misra, Pandit Subhendru Rao and Saskia Rao-De Hass, Durjay Bhaumik, and Ustad Rashid Mushtafa.

“When we are in tune, we are in harmony”, adds Bhaumik, elaborating the importance of being at peace with one’s self and surroundings.
