Punjabi singer Sukh E aka Muzical Doctorz who made a big name with his single Jaguar last year will soon be collaborating with Pakistani pop singer Falak Shabir .

“We met in Dubai a few days back, where were performing at a show. We were talking for a long time and realised we share a lot of common interests in music. That’s when we thought of collaborating together. We both are working on a few ideas. I don’t think the ongoing tension should put a stop to it or create any kind of a problem,” he says.

Despite the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan which has resulted in Pakistani artists being banned from performing in the country or taking part in film projects, Sukh E argues that musicians should be kept away from the politics.

“When I performed here in Dubai, both Indians and Pakistanis attended my concert and equally enjoyed it. There’s no India versus Pakistan feeling outside. And honestly music has no boundaries or any religion. It’s loved by one and all, so they (musicians) should be kept out of that’s going on right now,” he adds.

However, the 26-year-old who released another single ‘Suicide’ in September will not release the single till things cool down between the two countries. “Naturally, we wouldn’t release the single till everything cools down. I am sure after things cool down and people forget whatever has happened, they will accept the single. We wouldn’t want to hurt anyone’s sentiments by releasing it now. Nor will we want our song to be in the news for the wrong reasons. But, the collaboration is happening. We should soon finish the single,” he says.
