Singer Jonita Gandhi, who makes her debut in the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express, feels that it was a treat to chat with the stars on the sets of the film. “Both of them are very fun loving and friendly. We used to chat together and have a lot of fun on the sets,” says Jonita.
The Delhi born singer also reflects on working with the musical duo of Vishal-Shekhar, who have composed the music for the film. “I like experimenting with different styles of singing and languages and was frankly overwhelmed at the idea of working with Vishal and Shekhar. I’m really lucky that I got to work with them,” says Jonita.

Her other achievements include getting featured on a track in renowned flute player Naveen Kumar’s latest album, titled, Flutetronics, lending her voice for an advertisement which featured actor Priyanka Chopra, and headlining her own show with musician Aakash Gandhi in Dubai this year.
As for the future, Jonita says, “This August, I will be featuring in Clinton Cerejo’s episode of Coke Studio. I will also be performing alongside Sonu Nigam for his Europe tour in August.”
Does she have any acting aspirations? “Currently, I have no such plans, but may work in Bollywood movies if I get a chance,” she says.
