Hawaii Five-0

Blue Bloods

The Defenders

will premiere on the soon-to-launch Big CBS Channel in India. The shows are the new chart toppers on US TV and the most recent episodes of these shows have made them the three top dramas this season. It’s also the first time that international shows will be telecast almost concurrent with their U S broadcast.

The channels will launch in India this month. Aparnaa Pande, business head, Big CBS, says, “The performance of these shows in the highly competitive US market demonstrates the quality and superiority they have in entertainment. Their ratings have re-affirmed our belief in the line-up. The Indian upwardly mobile, English entertainment seeking audiences looks for latest entertainment and we will serve them the freshest shows from the US.”

Hawaii Five-0,

that averages 13.5 million viewers, is a contemporary take on the classic series about a new elite federalised task force whose mission is to wipe out crime that washes up on the Islands’ beaches.

Blue Bloods

is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) is the New York Police Commissioner and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family.

The Defenders

is a comic drama about two Las Vegas defense attorneys who go all-in when it comes to representing their clients. Nick (Jim Belushi) and Pete (Jerry O’Connell) are the local go-to guys with an eclectic client list who are still looking to hit their own jackpot.
