BHAGALPUR: Decks have been cleared for shifting former Siwan MP Mohammad Shahabuddin, lodged in a special central (camp) jail here, to the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in New Delhi for treatment of his back problem. The jail administration here received a letter from the home (prison) department approving recommendation of a medical team to shift the former MP to AIIMS. An official of the special central jail said Shahabuddin’s travel plan was being worked out.
