Explosion kills scrap dealer, injures 4 kids

LAKHIMPUR KHERI: A scrap dealer was killed and four children injured in a mysterious explosion at Banbirpur village situated about 15km away from the Indo-Nepal border. The deceased was identified as Uttam, 35. The incident took place while Uttam was repairing his bike with the parts he had collected reportedly from Nepal as scrap on Saturday. The exact reason behind the explosion could not be ascertained. Kheri SP Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasiya said a team of forensic experts had been rushed to Banbirpur to ascertain the exact cause of explosion.
