ROHTAK: A minor Dalit girl was allegedly gang-raped while her sister was sexually harassed in Sonepat by three men, including their distant cousin, on Tuesday.
Police said the 15-year-old victim of a government school in Baroda Mor village was gang-raped while her elder sister, 16, was sexually harassed.
The FIR copy accessed by HT revealed the accused were Ajay, Balram and Pradeep.
The victim’s father complained that Ajay was their distant relative.
Senior police officials remained unavailable for comment despite repeated attempts.
The incident comes in the backdrop of increasing cases of caste-based violence.
Recently, two separate cases of rapes with Dalit girls were reported in Rohtak.
