JORHAT: The carcass of an adult male Royal Bengal tiger was found in an inundated Kaziranga National Park (KNP) in upper Assam on Tuesday, a senior forest department official said. After preliminary investigation, department officials and veterinarians said the big cat died after a fight with buffalos. A total of 298 animals, including hog deer, wild boars and 17 rhinos, have been killed in the current wave of floods that have submerged 90% of the World Heritage site.
