GAYA: A truck trampled at least 12 students who were attending classes on the pavement just outside their school in Gaya district, about 91km from Patna, on Tuesday afternoon, killing three children on the spot. “In a bid to save an autorickshaw that suddenly appeared in the middle of the road, the driver of the truck took a wrong turn, drove through the children and rammed into the school gate. While three children died on the spot, many others were injures in the incident,” an eyewitness said.
