Rugby India, along with the International Rugby Board, has taken this initiative to give exposure to the India players in international training methods, fitness and diet schedules. They will also compete in Marist 7s, one of the largest tournaments in Fiji, which will also include top teams of New Zealand and Australia.
After the event, India will travel to Palmerstom North, New Zealand, to attend a Rugby 7s clinic by former All Blacks player Murray Euxted.
One of the highlights of the tour will be the chance to interact with champions All Blacks (the International union rugby team of New Zealand) and meet world-renowned players like Grant Fox and Christian Cullen. They will also play practice matches with the Hawke's Bay Magpies, one of the top teams in New Zealand.
The team will also visit Hong Kong for three days to play practice games against the National Rugby 7s team.
