Aditya lost 5-11 2-11 2-11 to Khalifa, a former British Junior Open (Under-15 and Under-17) champion.
In other quarterfinals, the Egyptian domination continued with Marwan El Shorbagy beating compatriot Ali Ashraf El Karargy 11-6 11-6 11-7 to enter the last-four stage.
Pakistan's Farhan Zaman beat broke the monotony by defeating Mohamed El Sherbini 12-10 11-9 8-11 11-7 in a hard-fought contest.
England's Charles Sharpes was the other semifinalist after a 11-8 11-7 11-4 win over Egypt's Ali Farag.
