Police have arrested all the accused, including one who claims to be Congress MLA Rajendra Prasad Singh's nephew. Police said the crime was allegedly committed at Singh’s house in West Patel Nagar on Thursday night.

Singh, the legislator from Bermo in Bokaro district, rubbished accused Neeraj Kumar's kinship claim. "He is not my relative. I have given the house on rent and not visited it in years," he said on Saturday.

Police said Neeraj claimed he was supervising renovation work in a portion of the MLA's house.

According to the police, two of the accused spotted the girl, a Class 9 student, at Patna Junction and tricked her into going with them to the MLA's house.

A police patrol spotted the girl moving around dazed on the road early Friday morning. "The girl said she had boarded the train by mistake. We cannot disclose the details as yet," said a police officer.
