"He (Hazare) had never taken the name of JP so far ... To make himself popular he and his group of civil society members are using the Loknayak's name and assuring to complete his unfulfilled dream," Prasad, himself a close disciple of JP who played a prominent role in the 1974 movement, told PTI.

"Merely by staying at JP Charkha Samiti Bhavan and uttering a few lines about him will not make anybody a great believer of JP ideology," he said criticising Hazare for invoking the name of the socialist leader at his 'Jantrantra Rally' here yesterday.

Prasad alleged that Hazare and his band of activists were behaving like a dictator and ordering politicians, Parliament and even the judiciary.

"During the rally at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, Hazare and others (civil society members) had appealed to the public to thrash those who consume liquor or gherao the residence of politicians for Jan Lokpal Bill ... Did Gandhiji or JP endorsed violence?"
