"Ramdevji is raising his voice for a right cause ... It is a subject of public interest and that is the reason why JD(U) national President Sharad Yadav went to the dharna site... I fully support Baba Ramdev's movement," he told newsmen on the sidelines of his weekly Janata Darbar.

"For purposes of public interest, it is the constitutional and democratic right of every person to embark on non-violent movement and Ramdev is raising a subject of public interest," he said.

Anna Hazare's movement too was on the same lines in the larger interest of the public, he said adding "Team Anna has the right to float a political party, it should be taken in the right perspective."

Launching a veiled attack on UPA, Kumar said "Those who were making a mockery of the agitation will make mockery of themselves one day."
