Choudhary, who had then earned the sobriquet 'love guru', said he would request the Election Commission to allot him 'heart' as election symbol.

He would contest as an independent candidate from Patna Saheb and take on two heavy weights--film star Shatrughan Sinha of BJP and TV actor Shekhar Suman of Congress.

The 'love guru', who appears on TV channels every Valentine's Day, said "if elected I would construct lovers parks. This would not be an ordinary park but a place that would promote love without the present-day vulgarity associated with relationships."

The idea behind the lovers park was to channelise the suppressed energy of the youth to a positive direction, Choudhary said.

Choudhary, accompanied by his student Julie with whom he had an affair, said he would criss cross the state after the elections to mobilise people in favour of the Prem Party.
