Fatima Sana Sheikh, Vicky Kaushal and Sanya Malhotra also posed with the makers of Sam Bahadur at the teaser launch event in Mumbai on Friday. The film has been directed by Meghna Gulzar and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies, both of whom were seen with the cast at the event.

Vicky wore a casual brown jacket with his matching T-shirt and trousers for the event. At the teaser launch of Sam Bahadur, Vicky said that it's a huge responsibility to be donning the Indian Army uniform and stepping into the shoes of Sam Manekshaw. He also said that he hopes he can do justice to the role.

The Sam Bahadur teaser launch was a Dangal reunion of sorts for Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. Both the actors had made their Bollywood debuts with the 2016 hit film Dangal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film also starred Aamir Khan and was based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters, wrestlers Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat.

The film marks the second collaboration between director Meghna Gulzar and Vicky after their 2018 blockbuster spy thriller Raazi, co-starring Alia Bhatt. Meghna was seen in a black kurta outfit at the Sam Bahadur teaser launch.
