FIFA World Cup 2018: France national football team aim for glory

The France national football team will be aiming to win their second ever World Cup when they take part in the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia. France have won the trophy once before when they hosted the tournament in 1998. Since then, they have put in a number of mixed performances but have always had a solid team thanks to a robust domestic league that encourages youth players. The current team features stars such as Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe among others. Given the quality present in that side, it is safe to say that france are one of the pre-tournament favourites.
