Photos: India’s single day Covid-19 test figures cross 4.4 lakh

According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)’s numbers released for July 25, a record 442,263 COVID-19 tests were conducted in a single day in the previous 24 hour period. This benchmark takes the number of tests done since the emergence of Covid-19 in the country to 1,62,91,331. The Union Government has advised all regional governments to keep up with a strategy of "Test, Track and Treat" to push ahead with aggressive testing and management of Covid-19 cases.
