The mother wound is passed on from the mother to the child. It usually consists of trauma and dysfunctional ways of coping up. However, the mother wound can be healed. Psychotherapist Terri Cole addressed this and wrote, "Do you feel like your mother or mother figure is never satisfied with what you do in life?
