As we learn to set our boundaries, we should be extremely mindful of the boundaries set by the partner in a relationship. "It is completely okay if you feel annoyed, frustrated, sad, or confused when your partner states a boundary and it’s not what you want to hear. Your feelings are always valid, but sometimes your behavioral reaction to them may not be," wrote therapist Sadaf Siddiqi.
