PHOTOS: What Pune looks like during the lockdown

Pune also wore a similar look to other cities all over India as the lockdown went into effect. Only essential services such as groceries, milk, health, police and others were functioning. During the Janta curfew, the Pune-Mumbai Expressway, which normally experiences a lot of traffic, was mostly empty. Even the Pune railway station, which sees a lot of footfall was alos mostly deserted. During the Janta curfew residents preferred to stay indoor and policemen were stationed at various strategic locations at the entrance and exit points of the city.
