India-China troops clash near LAC in Arunachal, soldiers from both sides suffer minor injuries

The clash near Yangtse along the LAC in the sensitive sector took place On December 9 amid the over 30-month border standoff between the two sides in eastern Ladakh.

Indian and Chinese troops clashed along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh on December 9. The face-off resulted in "minor injuries to a few personnel from both sides", the Indian Army said on Monday. "I was hurt when I heard about the December 9 incident. I condemn this. If PLA continues doing such things in the future, India-China relations will suffer," Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Arunachal Pradesh Tapir Gao said in a video message on Monday. (PTI)

He further condemned the act of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) and said, "I want to say that these repeated incidents on the McMohan line spoil the relations between India and China. I personally condemn the act of the PLA. Indian soldiers at the border won't budge even an inch and as much China will do such acts our soldiers will give a befitting reply." (PTI)
