Sawan 2023: Devotees throng temples on first Monday
This year, the Shravan period stretches for two months instead of the usual one-month period and there would be eight Mondays instead of four.

Sawan commenced on July 4 this year and will continue till August 31 this year. Hindu devotees from across the country offered prayers in Lord Shiva temples on the first Monday of the month of Sawan 2023. (PTI)
