Pune driver bludgeoned to death inside private bus

According to information provided by Wakad police, Sutar was killed when he was sleeping inside the bus which he parked in Rahatani.

A 39-year-old private bus driver was bludgeoned to death inside the bus by an unknown assailant at Rahatani under Wakad police station on the intervening night of Sunday-Monday.

The deceased was identified as Anil Sutar, 39, a resident of Khed. Sutar, who used to drive a private bus, was bludgeoned to death while he was sleeping inside the bus on the intervening night of Sunday-Monday.

According to information provided by Wakad police, Sutar was killed when he was sleeping inside the bus which he parked in Rahatani. The murder came to light when the bus owner called him on Monday morning on his phone and received no response. After making several calls, the bus owner sent one of his employees to check the bus. The employee found the body of the deceased lying in a pool of blood inside the bus.

Police has registered a case of murder against the unknown assailant/s and initiated a probe into the matter.
