10 ‘birs’ of Guru Granth Sahib reduced to ashes in Ferozepur gurdwara fire

Ten ‘birs’ (copy of holy book) were reduced to ashes in a fire at gurdwara in Makhu village here on Friday. Around 10.30 am, Mohan Singh, a resident of nearby Behak Fattu village, noticed smoke coming out of the Makhu village gurdwara following which he raised alarm.
