10 more dengue cases surface

Ten more dengue cases were reported from different hospitals of the city on Saturday. Four patients belong to Ludhiana, while remaining six are from elsewhere.

Ten more dengue cases were reported from different hospitals of the city on Saturday. Four patients belong to Ludhiana, while remaining six are from elsewhere.

The patients are undergoing treatment at different hospital, including Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Civil Hospital and Sri Krishna Hospital.

District epidemiologist Dr Anil Verma said that the four patients were from Haibowal, Ambedkar Nagar, Dhandari and Dugri areas in the city. Two patients are from Jalandhar while one from Pathankot, Muktsar, Faridkot and Uttar Pradesh each.

A total of 72 cases have been reported so far at city hospitals. Of them 31 patients belonged to Ludhiana.
