25 kg poppy husk seized; 2 held
A team of anti-narcotics cell of Fatehgarh Sahib police arrested Lucky Verma of Jodhewal Basti in Ludhiana on Monday and allegedly seized 20 kg poppy husk from him during checking near Ferozepur village bridge.

A team of anti-narcotics cell of Fatehgarh Sahib police arrested Lucky Verma of Jodhewal Basti in Ludhiana on Monday and allegedly seized 20 kg poppy husk from him during checking near Ferozepur village bridge.
A second report said police had seized another 5 kg poppy husk from Ritipal Sharma of Dheema Piperpur village of Uttar Pradesh during checking near the defence bridge in Sirhind. Both accused have booked under the Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Fatehgarh Sahib police station.
