3 women among 5 held for running sex racket
The district police have arrested five people, including two women, for allegedly running a prostitution racket in Pratap Nagar locality here. The arrested have been identified as Surjit Singh, a resident of Baluana, Sukhdeep Singh, Meena Rani and Sumandeep Sharma and Rajdeep Kaur.

The district police have arrested five people, including two women, for allegedly running a prostitution racket in Pratap Nagar locality here. The arrested have been identified as Surjit Singh, a resident of Baluana, Sukhdeep Singh, Meena Rani and Sumandeep Sharma and Rajdeep Kaur.
Station house officer (SHO), Canal colony police station, Gurpreet Singh, said that accused Surjit Singh, in connivance with others, was running the racket in his house. All the accused have been booked under the Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act.
