CAG to conduct audit of MC records
A team of Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India is conducting audit of the records of Ludhiana municipal corporation (MC). According to MC officials, the team will submit a report to the higher authorities.

A team of Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India is conducting audit of the records of Ludhiana municipal corporation (MC). According to MC officials, the team will submit a report to the higher authorities.
It is worth mentioning here that that the Punjab's audit department has raised various objections repeatedly but various branches concerned of the MC have failed to provide that record for removal of objections.
MC additional commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said that the CAG team has been conducting audit for past few days, adding that the team will be here for 40 days.
He said that they are checking the records after that they will prepare a report.
