Chandigarh airport to remain shut on five Sundays from April 10

Chandigarh International Airport will remain closed on five Sundays beginning April 10 due to runway repair work. Authorities said no flight will land or fly from the airport on April 10, April 17, April 24, May 1 and May 8. Airport CEO Sunil Dutt said, “The Indian Air Force looks after maintenance, they are going to get the repair work done. The airport will thus be shut for five days.”

The airport will thus be shut for five days.” The airfield will be closed an evening prior to scheduled days of closure of airport. It means that airfield will be closed from 8 pm on April 9 till 6.30 am on April 11; 8 pm on April 16 to 6.30 am on April 18; 8 pm on April 23 to 6.30 am on April 25; 8 pm on April 30 to 6.30 am on May 2 and from 8 pm on May 7 to 6.30 am on May 9.
