CIA cops booked for seeking bribe in Faridabad

A police inspector, sub-inspector and assistant sub-inspector of the Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) have been booked in Faridabad for implicating a person in false case and demanding bribe.

A police inspector, sub-inspector and assistant sub-inspector of the Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) have been booked in Faridabad for implicating a person in false case and demanding bribe.

A spokesperson for the police department said Jafru, a resident of Kheri Kalan village, Faridabad, had filed a complaint with the local police saying that in-charge of CIA DLF, Faridabad, inspector Abdul Shahid, sub-inspector Deep Chand and assistant sub-inspector Amar Singh were trying to implicate him in a false case.

The Haryana Police have registered a case against the trio under section 218 of the Indian Panel Code and under section 7, 49 and 88 under the Prevention of Corruption Act against the accused and the matter was being investigated.
