Sudershan Jain, president of the knitwear and apparel manufacturers association of Ludhiana, said that the main stress of the event on Sunday was on close door meetings between manufacturers and retailers from across the country.

Jain said, “In the meetings, retailers and manufacturers discussed about the upcoming trends in the market and the emerging market situation.”

Though the event is open for general public, but manufacturers do not prefer to engage in retail sale from the products displayed in the event. This is the event on which manufacturers rely heavily on the planning their manufacturing strategies.

Jain added, “In the coming days, more and more such meetings between manufacturers and retailers will be held.”
