CM to miss Lajpat Rai event at Dhudike on Thursday

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal will skip the 150th birthday celebrations of freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai scheduled on Thursday at Dhudike village in Moga district on health grounds. The decision has been taken ‘on the advice of doctors’ attending to him at the PGI hospital, a spokesperson stated. “The doctors have advised the CM to take rest,” the spokesman stated.
