Convict flees from hospital in Bathinda
A rape convict undergoing treatment at the Bathinda civil hospital gave four cops the slip and escaped on Tuesday morning.

A rape convict undergoing treatment at the Bathinda civil hospital gave four cops the slip and escaped on Tuesday morning.
Police said Vijay Kumar, 32, of Bharatpur district in Rajasthan, was admitted to the hospital for treatment of piles on Monday. He has been undergoing 10 years’ imprisonment in the Bathinda jail since September 11, 2014.
However, he escaped from the hospital despite four guards deployed there.
