English to be taught from Class 1 in Punjab schools, says Punjab CM Amarinder

Capt said, as part of the education policy revamp, the teaching of one foreign language will also be introduced in the state’s school from Class 10.

Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday announced that English language subject will be introduced from the Class 1 in Punjab schools.

Capt said, as part of the education policy revamp, the teaching of one foreign language will also be introduced in the state’s school from Class 10.

Speaking at the Rising Punjab Talk event organised in Chandigarh, the CM also batted for Rahul Gandhi as the next president of the Congress party.
