Five dengue cases reported

Five patients tested positive for dengue in the district on Friday. District epidemiologist Dr Anil Verma said the 27-year-old woman from Prem Vihar, 45-year-old man from Ranjodh Park, 46-year-old man from PAU, 62-year-old man from Model Town Extension and 31-year-old man from Rajesh Nagar are undergoing treatment at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital.

The total number of dengue patients reported from the district this year is 130, out of which 92 belong to Ludhiana, 33 are from other districts of Punjab and five from other states.
