Khadoor Sahib bypolls: Longowal SAD to hold crucial meeting today
A meeting of the office bearers of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Longowal) will be held at the residence of its president and former Punjab chief minister Surjit Singh Barnala in Chandigarh on January 27 at 12:00 pm in which the party will decide about its stand for the Khadoor Sahib assembly segment bypoll slated for February 13 and the Punjab assembly elections due early in 2017

A meeting of the office bearers of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Longowal) will be held at the residence of its president and former Punjab chief minister Surjit Singh Barnala in Chandigarh on January 27 at 12:00 pm in which the party will decide about its stand for the Khadoor Sahib assembly segment bypoll slated for February 13 and the Punjab assembly elections due early in 2017.
Highly placed party sources disclosed in Gurdaspur on Tuesday that the meeting would also decide whether to merge the SAD (Longowal) with Congress or to forge only a political alliance with the Congress.
