This decision was taken at the executive body meeting of the Amritsar Bar Association (ABA) held here on Monday. The meeting was presided over by ABA president Parminder Singh Sethi.

In a resolution passed in the meeting, the ABA demanded immediate action against those responsible for the occupation of advocate Bawa Singh Teja's land.

The resolution also sought action against the police officials of Fatehgarh Churian police station who failed to come to the aid of the lawyer despite being shown the court order.
