Man arrested under NDPS Act
The Batala police claim to have arrested a man on charges of selling narcotic drugs and recovered 380 gm of narcotic powder and 330 capsules from him.

The Batala police claim to have arrested a man on charges of selling narcotic drugs and recovered 380 gm of narcotic powder and 330 capsules from him.
ASI Parkash Singh said that on getting a tip-off, a police team laid a naka near Jharianwala drain and arrested Ranjit Singh, resident of Kahnuwan Road, for carrying narcotic drugs. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered at Civil Lines police station.
