Man booked for attempt to rape
A housewife in Islamabad area of the city has lodged a complaint with the police that Vijay Kumar, a resident of Gali Masitwali, attempted to molest her while she was alone in her house on Friday afternoon.

A housewife in Islamabad area of the city has lodged a complaint with the police that Vijay Kumar, a resident of Gali Masitwali, attempted to molest her while she was alone in her house on Friday afternoon.
In her complaint, she said the accused after entering her house caught hold of her and tried to rape her. However, she escaped from his clutches and went out into the street and shouted for help, which forced the culprit to flee.
On her complaint, a case under sections 376-A and 511 of the IPC has been registered against Vijay Kumar at the Islamabad police station. He has not been arrested.
