Man gets 10-year jail for rape
The court of additional sessions judge Neelam Arora on Tuesday awarded 10 years jail term and a fine of Rs 10,000 to Pargat Singh aias Pagga, a resident of Nibbarwind village, in a rape case. In case the accused fails to deposit the fine, he will have to undergo jail for another six months, the court ordered.

The court of additional sessions judge Neelam Arora on Tuesday awarded 10 years jail term and a fine of Rs 10,000 to Pargat Singh aias Pagga, a resident of Nibbarwind village, in a rape case.
In case the accused fails to deposit the fine, he will have to undergo jail for another six months, the court ordered.
Pargat had raped a girl of the same village when hse was alone at home. The Mattewal police had booked him for rape on the complaint of the girl.
On Monday, the same court had 10 years jail to another rape accused, Rakesh Kumar.
