Mumbai couple among 5 killed in car accident near Faridkot
The drivers of both vehicles died on the spot.
Five people, including a child, were killed and four injured in a collision between a car and a van near Kot Karor Kalan village, 24 km from here, on Saturday.

The accident occurred on the Amritsar-Bathinda highway, 35 km from district headquarters Ferozepur.
Rupinderpal Singh, 60, a resident of Mumbai was travelling with his wife Gurmeet Kaur, 55, daughter Jaismeen, 25, son Harmit Singh, 28, and driver Lali, 35.
The family was on a pilgrimage and had paid obeisance at the Golden Temple on Friday, following which they were headed to Damdama Sahib and Baba Farid Gurdwara in Faridkot.
Rupinderpal and Gurmeet died on the spot, while Lali succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Harmit and Jaismeen sustained injuries and are admitted at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot.
Satinder Singh, his wife Sabarjeet Kaur, seven-year-old son Lavi were in the van that Tarsem Singh, 29, was driving.
Tarsem and Lavi were declared brought dead. Satinder and Sabarjeet are critical.
The couple is from Jhabal village in Tarn Taran district. They hired a cab and were visiting their relatives in Faridkot on Saturday. Lali was their only child.
