One held for raping schoolgirl
The police arrested a man, identified as Bodh Raj alias Monu, a resident of Gurdaspur, on charges of raping a schoolgirl.

The police arrested a man, identified as Bodh Raj alias Monu, a resident of Gurdaspur, on charges of raping a schoolgirl.
The man was booked under sections 376 (rape), 363 (kidnapping), 366A (kidnapping or maiming a minor) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code at the Islamabad police station.
The case was registered on complaint of the victim, a student in a local school. Sub-inspector Rajwant Kaur of Islamabad police station, said the complainant stated that the accused allegedly took her to a hotel near the bus stand, where he raped her.
