Shahkot: Youth booked for kidnapping minor

Shahkot police have booked Jaspreet Singh Jassa, a resident of Bajwa Kalan village, on charges of kidnapping a minor girl and compelling her to marry him.

Shahkot police have booked Jaspreet Singh Jassa, a resident of Bajwa Kalan village, on charges of kidnapping a minor girl and compelling her to marry him.

The victim complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her in a car on March 6 and eve-teased her for the whole day.

Station house officer Manjit Singh said that a case under sections 363(kidnapping) and 366(inducing a woman to compel her for marriage) has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to nab him.
