Show-cause notice to Yadav over poll office documents

The Gurgaon electoral office on Wednesday slapped a show-cause notice on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Gurgaon, Yogendra Yadav, for not providing proper information about the party’s two newly set-up election offices in Sohna and Taoru.

According to the letter, the flying squad of the Election Commission had visited the party’s offices in Sohna and Taoru on March 31 and April 2, respectively, seeking essential documents for running party offices. However, AAP failed to provide the information regarding the offices, after which South Gurgaon SDM Vivek Kalia sent Yadav the notice.

Yadav has been asked to submit an answer by April 4.
