Swine flu death toll in Himachal reaches two

The death toll from swine flu has now risen to two in Himachal Pradesh. One of them, Subash Chand, 47, who hailed from Thanpuri near Nagrota and was admitted to the Government Medical College at Tanda in Kangra district died on Monday. His blood sample, which had been sent to the Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), confirmed swine flu.

The second person to die was a 37-year-old Solan resident, who died last Sunday after he was admitted to the civil hospital in Solan a day before.
