Palamau (42.8 degree C), Dumka (42.5), Sahibganj (42), Jamtara (42), Giridih (40), Lohardaga (40) and Chatra (40) districts also sizzled in intense heat, he said.

The weather forecast for the next one to five days is clear sky and dry conditions, he added.
