Aramm trailer: Nayanthara looks intense as the IAS officer of a village suffering from water scarcity.

The trailer of Nayanthara’s upcoming film, Aramm, was released on November 1. Directed by Gopi Nainar, the film talks about water scarcity in rural Tamil Nadu and how that has affected the everyday lives of people. The crux of the plot is explained with a single dialogue. “Are you for the government, or against the government?” This question is posed to Nayanthara, to which she replies, “According to me, government means people.”

This film is going to be about a village’s efforts to solve a problem that has lead to loss of many lives. An elder from the village says, “People are going to die of thirst. It is going to be like an epidemic when so many lives were lost due to diarrhea and cholera.”

The trailer portrays what would happen in the country if people were to get desperate. They are desperate to live, and do not trust the government anymore to do its job.

Nayanthara, who plays the role of an IAS officer, is stuck, in between the corrupt government and desperate people. What will she do to solve this issue and how it turns the lives of people in this village around will be the story.

The trailer also has great dialogues, including when Nayanthara says, “Money creates two kinds of people - slaves and masters.”

Nayanthara is yet again set to lead a film by herself with the help of what one expects to be a good script. Aramm, produced by KJR Studios, has music composed by Ghibran. The film is slated to release on November 10.
