S3 first look: Suriya’s angry look in Singam franchise impresses

The first look of Tamil star Suriya’s new film, S3, was released on Thursday. Needless to say, the three posters show him in a fiery mode. This will be the thrid installment of Singam franchise.

Looks like Tamil superstar Suriya has just got his hands on a sure-shot box office winner. The first look of the third part of his 2010 hit Singam has him in a fiery mode: of the three posters released on Thursday, he sports an intense and angry look in two of them, his face morphed with that of a lion. The third is a side-angle shot of him posing with a gun. All the posters of the action thriller, with a tagline ‘Universal Cop’, are either in the shades of black or ochre.

Directed by Hari, the third installment of the franchise also stars Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan. The film now has a new name, S3. It is being produced by Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment and Harris Jayaraj has been roped in to compose its music.
